Drive on a tarmac road from Mwanza to Ndabaka gate. Explore the western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural habitats. Stop at the Grumeti River and Retima hippo pool where hippos and giant Nile crocodiles can be found in abundance. Travel further to Seronera area where animals can be seen in abundance including leopard, prides of lion, packs of spotted hyenas, cheetahs, and many plain animals like buffalos, topi, hartebeest, wildebeest, waterbucks, elands, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, and numerous species of birds. Today You have full day in Serengeti ecosystem; you may start the day with early morning game drive at 6:00 am, breakfast afterwards.Further game drives over the big Serengeti Park, the Rocks outcrop commonly known as Kopjes, pronounced as copy which is Afrikaans language from South Africa meaning “The Spear Head”, harbors a lot of animals.These Rocks are breeding sites for Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Wild Dog.As you visit you’ll see Lions relaxing on top of the rocks, some which were given the name Simba Kopjes.After enough gaming, drive to the Camp for hot lunch, after lunch take some rest till dawn, then go for sunset game drive, enjoying the sun sets of Serengeti also the best chance to spot nocturnal animals. Afterwards, drive back to Lahia tented lodge for dinner and overnight.
Today we have Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Return to the Kubukubu tented lodge with dinner.
After breakfast you leave for Tarangire National park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park.
