Travel Itinerary

Day 1

WELCOME TANZANIA

After landing at Kilimanjaro Airport, you are welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to Legendary Lodge. Situated on a working coffee farm and surrounded by lush gardens, Legendary Lodge is the perfect stopover before embarking on your action-packed safari. Settle into your garden cottage with its private veranda that offers stunning views of Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania. This is the perfect place to relax and soak in the tranquillity offered by this unique setting.

Day 2-5

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at Legendary Lodge, you will be transferred in a comfortable safari vehicle to the magical Tarangire National Park. Famous for its baobab trees, massive elephant herds and quality predator sightings, Tarangire is a popular stage in Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit. Your home for the next few days is Chem Chem Lodge, a luxury eco-sanctuary situated in a private wildlife management area of the park. The lodge is nestled in a migration corridor, which means you have a guaranteed front-row seat to see animals move through the area. Immerse yourself in your spacious tent, beautifully designed and decorated with natural textures like wood, canvas, cotton and lava rock. Your privacy is of chief importance at Chem Chem, which is why your nearest neighbour is about 80 metres (87 yards) away. When you're not out on thrilling game drives or guided walks with Maasai warriors, you can enjoy a soak in your tent's luxury bath, a good book in the reading corner, stretch and meditate on a yoga mat on your private patio, or simply drift away on your day bed to the sounds of the wilderness.

Day 5-8

WILDBEST MIGRATION FOLLOWING

The next morning, you will be transferred to an airstrip for your charter flight to the sensational Serengeti National Park. After touching down in the bush, you'll enjoy another road transfer (which doubles as a game drive!) to a mobile camp in the northern part of the park. Legendary Expeditions Migration Camps operate as two seasonal camps across four locations within the Serengeti, following the Wildebeest Migration and offering guests front-row seats to the spectacle all year round. But you'll be far from roughing it at this mobile camp! Your tent is en suite, with beautiful décor inspired by nature and raw organic materials. Your bed linen and the tent's earthy colours reflect the tranquillity of the environment, allowing you to feel totally connected to the Serengeti wilderness as you witness our planet's biggest mass terrestrial animal movement.

Day 8-10

CENTRAL SERENGETI

Another short charter flight whisks you to a gorgeous private reserve in the Southern Serengeti, Mwiba Wildlife Reserve. Mila Tented Camp provides another pinnacle of privacy. There are only five tents in the camp, and each booking receives a private safari vehicle and guide. This means you get to experience the Serengeti at your own pace. The camp is surrounded by acacia trees, massive granite boulders and five natural springs that flow into the camp. These springs attract wildlife to drink throughout the day, allowing you to see game without having to leave camp. Mwiba Wildlife Reserve is best experienced on guided walking safaris, bush breakfasts and lunches, day and night game drives, and authentic cultural experiences with the local Maasai people.

DAY 11

DEPARTURE DAY

After your final breakfast in the Serengeti, you will board another charter flight to Kilimanjaro Airport to continue your journey.
