Travel Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport

On arrival at JRO Airport, you will be met by your driver and  transferred to Tarangire  National Park, arriving at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge. Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge is located in the heart of Tarangire, Tanzania’s wild land and landscapes.  Relax this morning and in the afternoon,  enjoy a game drive in Tarangire national park, Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, true sense of wilderness and a gentle backdrop of baobabs. It is the lesser visited but more intriguing park on the northern circuit.

Day 2

Game Drive to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a safari in Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire river that attracts an abundance of wildlife, from elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, antelope and an amazing variety of birds. Return to the lodge for an afternoon at leisure.  Dinner and overnight Tarangire  Ndovu Tented Lodge.

Day 3

Game Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees of the ground water forest, the tree climbing lions, the soda lake inhabited with thousands of pink-hued flamingos, large water birds and the troops of baboons and blue monkeys and the rift valley escarpment make your safari to this area unforgettable. Arrive at Mandhari Lodge, Aligned with soaring flamingos, Mandhari Lodge is situated high on the Manyara Escarpment which forms part of the Great Rift Valley. ‘ Mandhari lodge, scenery, landscape’ in Swahili, and with a bird’s eye view of the great expanse from Lake Natron to Mondhari Mountains and across Lake Manyara, this lodge offers breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4

Fly to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is home to the world’s largest populations of Wildebeest, Zebra, Cape Eland, Lion, Cheetah, Hyena and Gazelles. The scenic beauty of the sky with cool nights and warm days makes your visit to this remaining home for great migration of large mammals incredible! today game drive around the area ending Naona Moru Camp. Located on an elevated viewing point beside the famous Moru Kopjes, this tented camp allows for drive in and game package clients to explore the resident and migratory wild game all year round. The landscape pans from the great southern plains of the Serengeti into the central hub of the most famous national park in Africa, close to Seronera Airstrip.

Day 5

Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Explore the vast preserve these following days.  Tanzania is blessed with an incredible array of safari experiences, but the Serengeti, with its magnificent migrating herds and huge population of predators, is unbeatable. Return to the camp after your game drives. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Departure Day

After an early breakfast, transfer to airstrip for flight to Kilimanjaro to connect with international flight home.

When and where does the tour end?

Your tour will conclude in Zanzibar on Day 15 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!

When and where does the tour start?

Day 1 of this tour is an arrival day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore  Arusha City. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.

Do you arrange airport transfers?

Definitely we have airport pick up and drop up facilities for our clients who have booked our full packages tour. We are also pleased to inform you that we don’t charge for the pick up and drop up facilities. Actually it’s free of cost. But for this you need to provide the arrival time and date.

What about the local language? Do we need guide services everywhere?

We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese, only on advanced booking.

Is tipping included in the tour cost? If not how much should it be for the trip?

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry. We would recommend carrying small change in your pocket. Tips to Guides or other services rendered (Highly recommended)

How Old Can Go to this tour

We accept children of all ages to travel on safari and believe it is a wonderful experience for families to travel together. For children to make the most out of their travels, we suggest looking into one of our special family itineraries. We have car seats available for very young children. Please bear in mind, some of the accommodation have minimum age restrictions, so please inform us of the age of your child/children.
