Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to The Green Side Hotel at Kilimanjaro Golf Resort in Arusha, Tanzania. After settling in, our safari manager will provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming adventure. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. All meals are included during your stay. Overnight: The African Tulip Hotel, located in the suburb of Arusha.
After breakfast, you'll embark on a drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day of exciting game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes. The park features natural vegetation, primarily Acacia woodlands and majestic African Baobab trees, along with expansive swamp areas in the south. These elements attract a diverse array of wildlife, especially during Tanzania's dry season. Tarangire is renowned for housing some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Additionally, you may encounter three rare species: the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings. Dinner and overnight at Acacia Farm Lodge. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
After breakfast, we set off toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa. The Serengeti unfolds before us, showcasing its endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. We’ll head to the central park area, known as Seronera. This region is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source. This attracts a diverse array of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to see many of the Serengeti’s iconic species. Dinner and overnight at Taasa Lodge. After breakfast, have a two full-day game drive in the park, lunch at the lodge. The park has an endless plain which is a home for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest migration, eland, wild dogs, gazelle, crocodiles, and many more. Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a morning drive. Then, we’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos. Thanks to a year-round supply of water and ample fodder, the crater supports a diverse array of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and massive African elephants. The area is also famous for its impressive population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. In the late afternoon, we’ll drive back to Arusha, concluding our unforgettable family safari.
