Additionally, we offer fly-in safaris to other parks, as well as chartered light aircraft options for non-operated parks. Flying to Ruaha allows you to experience stunning aerial views of the landscape, as you spot wildlife from above.
Your adventure begins when you fly into Ruaha from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar, avoiding the long, bumpy drive. Day 1
Flying To Ruaha
Morning flight from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar to Ruaha National Park, You will be picked up from Ruaha Msembe Airstrip and transferred to your lodge for lunch and a short briefing about your program for the afternoon and following days. Afterwards you go on a first game drive around Ruaha. Your comfortable lodge constructed around a rocky kopje overlooking the Great Ruaha River. It provides comfortable accommodation and good food while blending into its surroundings to enable visitors to feel themselves a part of the wild. Both the dining “Banda” and the bar, in elevated position above the river combine comfort and coolness together with the most spectacular views. Overnight will be in Ikuka Safari Camp with Dinner
Day 2
Ruaha Full Day
You will have early breakfast and depart camp for a full day game drive at Ruaha. The Ruaha is a vast savannah dotted with mighty baobabs, hills and rocky outcrops and its river valleys full of palm trees. This kaleidoscope of life makes the Ruaha an exceptionally beautiful park. The entire cast of the Tanzania savannah and wildlife is on show here. The Ruaha combines acacia savannah of East Africa and the Miombo woodland of Southern Africa. There is an unusually high diversity of these species. With a thriving herd of Kudu, Ruaha is also home to the Roan and Sable antelopes. Ruaha also has a relatively healthy population of big cats with the Lions in abundance. Wild dogs are also found at Ruaha and this remains an important refuge of this species. With the varied three habitats, Ruaha has a rich variety of avian life. Over 550 different bird species have been recorded here. You will have picnic lunch and continue with your game drive returning to the camp in the evening as the sun sets over the Ruaha wilderness landscape. Dinner and overnight at your camp at Ikuka Camp. Day 3
Departure
After an early breakfast, you will check out from your camp and start your last game drive at Ruaha. You will later on be dropped at the airstrip for your flight out of Ruaha national park and back to Dar Es Salaam or Zanzibar where the safari ends. Meals Included – Breakfast

Do you arrange airport transfers?
Definitely we have airport pick up and drop up facilities for our clients who have booked our full packages tour. We are also pleased to inform you that we don’t charge for the pick up and drop up facilities. Actually it’s free of cost. But for this you need to provide the arrival time and date.
What about the local language? Do we need guide services everywhere?
We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese, only on advanced booking.
Is tipping included in the tour cost? If not how much should it be for the trip?
Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry.
