7 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari

After an early breakfast at Crater Edge Lodge, you depart for one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world — the Ngorongoro Crater. You descend approximately 600 meters into the crater floor, entering a natural wildlife sanctuary filled with rich and diverse ecosystems.

Inside the crater, you enjoy a full-day game drive across open grasslands, forests, and soda lakes. This area offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, making it ideal for Big Five sightings in a single day.

You will search for lions, elephants, buffalo, and large herds of zebras and wildebeest. The crater is also one of the best places in Tanzania to see the rare black rhino in its natural habitat. Flamingos gather around the lake depending on water levels.

A picnic lunch is served at a designated scenic site inside the crater, surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking views. After lunch, you continue exploring different habitats and tracking animals with your guide.

In the late afternoon, you ascend back to the crater rim and return to Crater Edge Lodge. You arrive in time to relax, enjoy sunset views over the highlands, and have dinner before overnight stay.

After breakfast at Crater Edge Lodge, you begin your journey toward the Serengeti National Park. You drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views of highlands, valleys, and open plains.

Along the way, you enjoy a game drive en route, with chances to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, elephants, and antelopes before fully entering the Serengeti ecosystem.

By midday, you arrive in the Serengeti National Park, where the landscape opens into vast endless plains. Your safari continues with a game drive as you head toward Warangi Ridge Serengeti, your luxury accommodation for the next three nights.

In the afternoon, you check in and take time to relax. The lodge offers a peaceful setting surrounded by wilderness, perfect for unwinding after travel.

Later in the evening, you enjoy a sunset sundowner experience overlooking the Serengeti plains. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at Warangi Ridge Serengeti, deep in the heart of the wild.

After breakfast at Warangi Ridge Serengeti, you head out for a full-day game drive across the central Serengeti plains. This region offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, especially around the Seronera Valley.

You explore different areas of the park as your guide tracks wildlife movement and predator activity. The Serengeti is home to large prides of lions, fast-moving cheetahs, elusive leopards, and massive elephant herds.

Midday, you enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or a designated scenic spot inside the park. The experience keeps you fully immersed in nature throughout the day.

In the afternoon, you continue game viewing across the golden plains. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the Great Migration as herds move across the ecosystem.

Later in the evening, you return to Warangi Ridge Serengeti. You relax at the lodge, enjoy dinner, and spend another night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

After an early breakfast at Warangi Ridge Serengeti, you enjoy a relaxed morning in the bush. Depending on your flight time or schedule, you may proceed with a short final game drive as you exit the Serengeti.

You travel through the park with final chances to spot wildlife and capture last memories of the savannah. The drive back offers beautiful views of open plains and wildlife along the way.

You then continue your journey back to Arusha by either safari vehicle or scheduled bush flight (depending on your arrangement). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport for your international departure.
