Travel Itinerary
Day 1
Dar es salaam to Kigoma
Flight from Dar-es-Salaam to Kigoma departs at 10:00 am on arrival at Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe national park. You will pick up on arrival and transfer to the camp, afternoon relaxes on the beach. The main attraction is the Gombe stream where the Chimpanzee families live to protect the park boundaries. Also in the Gombe stream, there are other species found like Colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik, due to the availability of dense forest and a wide variety of tropical. Overnight will be at Mbalimbali Gombe Lodge
Day 2
Gombe National Park and Chimpanzee Tracking
Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe became well known for the conservation project started by Jane Goodall. Apart from Chimpanzee viewing many other species of primates live in Gombe park-like Baboons, velvet Colobus, and monkeys and also climb Jane's peak and visit Kakombe waterfalls. In the late evening will return to Mbalimbali Gombe Lodge for dinner and a night's stay.
Day 3
Gombe National Park to Kigoma Then Mahale National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer by boat to kibirizi port transfer by vehicle to Lukoma village then take 50 minutes, boat to Mahale national park and evening relax and overnight stay at Mbalimbali Mahale Lodge. Mahale is located in western Tanzania to the south of Kigoma town, it is bordering Lake Tanganyika and has 1000species of fish because of a freshwater lake.
Day 4
Mahale National Park Mountain
On this day you will spend a full day Chimpanzee tracking in Mahale. Chimpanzees normally move in search of food on the shore. you will be able to see the huge number of Chimpanzees in the Mahale national park mountains. After that in the evening late you will return to Mbalimbali Mahale Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5
Mahale National Park Mountains
You will spend a full day also in Chimpanzee tracking and also you will get an opportunity to Snorkeling if you would like to cool off in the water and see what lies below the surface. Until late evening will return for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay at Mbalimbali Mahale Lodge.
Day 6
Mahale National Park to Kigoma
After breakfast you will pick up and transfer by boat back to Lukoma village then take a car to Kigoma Town and check in at Greystoke Mahale,In the afternoon to transfer to Ujiji town to visit Dr.Livingstone memorial center.
Day 7
Kigoma to Dar es salaam
After breakfast our guide will transfer you to the airport for you flight back to Dar-es-Salaam.Your overnight will be at Serena Hotel.

When and where does the tour end?
Your tour will conclude in Dar es salaam on Day 7 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city.
When and where does the tour start?
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Gombe National Park. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Definitely we have airport pick up and drop up facilities for our clients who have booked our full packages tour. We are also pleased to inform you that we don’t charge for the pick up and drop up facilities. Actually it’s free of cost. But for this you need to provide the arrival time and date.
What about the local language? Do we need guide services everywhere?
We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese, only on advanced booking.
Is tipping included in the tour cost? If not how much should it be for the trip?
Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry. We would recommend carrying small change in your pocket. Tips to Guides or other services rendered (Highly recommended)

We accept children of all ages to travel on safari and believe it is a wonderful experience for families to travel together.
