Distance: 130 km Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs. After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park for game drive. First you will stop in Arusha Town for any last minute purchases in the main supermarket before heading to the bush in Tarangire. The driving is along Masai steppe, shopping centers & many villages. Tarangire is famous for its huge Baobab trees & large elephant population, you may expect to spot heads of, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers Tarangire is the place over 400 bird species have been recorded here which includes the rare species of Ash Staling, Great Kudu & fringe Eared Oryx are also among rare animal species found in the Park. Predators like lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals & the ever- mysterious leopard also inhabit this park. Tarangire Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire Lake Manyara ecosystem which include up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and about 30,000 zebras. Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed when a volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself 2-3 million years ago. You will enjoy your game drive around the crater floor, stopping for a picnic lunch at one of the many scenic lunch spots. With its 2,000-foot-high walls, very few animals migrate in and out of the crater making it an area with one of the highest concentrations of wild animals in the world. You’ll be searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and many rare birds you might even get to see the “Big Five” all in one day! Early morning game drive can allow you to spot cat families on the road as they avoid morning mist. You may also expect to see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness organizing morning ambush or eating along the road after, you will break for breakfast in the bush. Serengeti National park is the scene of the Great Wildebeest Migration, so they will be in Serengeti your safari driver guide will have already know so the early start will take you straight to where they are & spend much time with the herds anticipating see animal actions like eating, fighting even killing. You may also expect to spot other predators like leopards, hyena, cheetah & jackals. Herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffe warthog, zebra & many antelopes can also be spotted wandering around the plains of Serengeti. Packed lunch can be served at the picnic site or somewhere in the bush. After early breakfast, you will bid the lodge goodbye by checking out and starting your last game safari in Serengeti for 2-3 hrs. You will enjoy your last game safari at Serengeti before departing for your next destination. You will drive to the airstrip in cenral serengeti for your flight departing from Serengeti - towards Zanzibar. This morning you will enjoy breakfast at your hotel, before meeting our expert local guide for a tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Over the centuries, many cultures have left their impressions on Zanzibar and it is perhaps in Stone Town where you can most easily see their influences. Your guide will lead you first to the colorful market, awash with exotic smells and buzzing with bartering locals. Afterwards, you will visit the calm of the 19th C cathedral, built on the former site of the slave market after the 1873 abolition of slavery. As you wander the narrow streets and alleys, you’ll pass the Arab houses with their inner courtyards, hidden behind heavy doors. You can compare their style with the Indian residences, adorned with balustrades and metal railings. Amongst the town’s historic sites are the ‘Tip Tip House,’ the Old Fort and the People’s Palace Museum. Lunch will be taken at the Silk Route Indian rooftop restaurant, with views to the ocean. The Silk Route is full of character, so enjoy the excellent cuisine, perhaps washing it down with a cocktail. After the tour, we will transfer you to your beach hotel for your dinner, an evening at leisure and the remainder of your stay at Tembo Hotel Zanzibar.

Today, you are free to do exactly what you want – and to do as little as you want. After all, you can simply relax by your hotel pool or down on the beach, perhaps under a swaying palm tree. After a pickup at your hotel , board your private boat heading to Mnemba Island. Depending on conditions, you can reach the coral reef of Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve in up to 20 minutes. Once there, explore a reef that’s big enough for everyone so you won’t feel cramped, even on busy days.Keep your eyes peeled for yellow snappers, barracudas, turtles, and more. After snorkeling, enjoy a snack stop on a sandbar. Relax under the sun while enjoying fresh seasonal fruits and other small bites. Later, We will drive you back to the hotel in Nungwi. After having breakfast at your hotel, we will transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward flight. If you have a later departure, we will arrange for you to have lunch before you leave the hotel.
