Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, a charming town nestled on a peninsula north of Lake Victoria. If you arrive in the morning, you have the exciting opportunity to embark on an excursion to Mabamba Swamp, renowned for its rich biodiversity. The briefing typically begins at 8:00 AM, where you’ll be assigned to a gorilla group with six fellow trekkers and informed about the rules for observing these magnificent creatures. Accompanied by two armed rangers for your safety and a knowledgeable guide, you’ll venture into the lush wilderness. Once you locate the gorillas, you’ll have an hour to quietly observe them, keeping a respectful distance of at least 10 meters. Remember to maintain silence and keep your mask on. After this unforgettable experience, return to your cottage to relax and order in a meal while enjoying the stunning views of the enchanting landscape surrounding you.

Your journey begins at the lodge, leading you through charming villages and into the misty jungle along the picturesque Kashasha River valley. Covering approximately 15 kilometers, you’ll be guided by a local expert who will share fascinating tales and insights about the forest’s rich biodiversity. Once you arrive at the airstrip, you’ll board your morning flight back to Entebbe, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable adventure in Uganda.
