1. Booking & Confirmation
- Initial Reservation: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- Refundable Deposit: The 30% deposit is fully refundable if the booking is canceled 61 days or more prior to the arrival date. If the cancellation occurs less than 61 days prior to the departure date, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Booking Confirmation: Your booking is considered confirmed once the deposit is received and a confirmation email is sent. Reservations are subject to availability, and early booking is advised to ensure preferred dates.
2. Payment Schedule
- Deposit Payment (30%): Due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- Remaining Balance Payment (70%):
- The remaining 70% of the total tour cost is due 45 days before arrival.
- For last-minute bookings (within 20–31 days before arrival), full payment must be made within 24 hours of booking confirmation or the next working day.
- For bookings made within 20 days of arrival, payment must be made by cash on the arrival day.

4. Last-Minute Bookings
- Last-Minute Bookings:
- For last-minute bookings (within 20–31 days of the tour), full payment must be made within 24 hours of booking confirmation or the next working day.
- Cash Payment: If the booking is made within 5–10 days of departure, payment must be made by cash on arrival.
- By agreeing to make a last-minute booking, you acknowledge that you are bound to make full payment within the specified time frame.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation by Client:
- More than 61 days before arrival: Full refund of the 30% deposit.
- 31–60 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost will be refunded (minus the non-refundable deposit).
- Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund is available for cancellations.
- Cancellation by Paul Tours and Safari Limited: In the unlikely event that Paul Tours and Safari Limited cancels the safari due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued, including the deposit.
6. Payment Terms and Conditions
- Bank Charges: All bank charges associated with payments made via bank transfer, cheque, or credit card are the responsibility of the client.
- Cheque Payments: Please note that 10 working days are required to clear payments made by cheque before we can issue your booking documents.
- Late Payments: If the final balance is not received by the specified deadline, your booking may be canceled, and any amounts paid may be forfeited.
- Currency Exchange: If payments are made in a currency other than Tanzanian Shillings (TZS), the amount will be calculated based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.
7. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and other unexpected events. This ensures peace of mind during your safari experience.
8. Final Confirmation
Once the full payment has been received, we will send you a final confirmation, along with your itinerary, accommodation details, and other relevant travel information.
