Day 1

Arrival to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) you will be met and transferred to Arusha to recover from your journey. Overnight will be at Gran Melia in Arusha

Day 2-3

Tarangire National Park

This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park, taking approximately 3-4 hours.  Tarangire is a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetah, and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy your afternoon game drive. Overnight will be at oliver's camp

Day 4

Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning, after breakfast, you will travel for approximately one hour to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in Manyara, described as one of the hidden gems of Tanzania. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and large herds of elephants, which are not shy to come straight up to the vehicle. After your game drive, travel the short distance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking approximately 2 hours.Overnight will be at Andbeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will journey into the heart of this wondrous crater. Spend the full day on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is unique in that almost all the wildlife lives within the crater walls; hence you have the opportunity to find the game easily. Rhinos are seen regularly, as well as prides of lions and other predators like the cheetah. Enjoy lunch by the hippo pond. Overnight will be at Andbeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 6-7

Serengeti National Park

Begin your journey from Ngorongoro to Serengeti, taking approximately four hours, with the opportunity to stop at Olduvai Gorge on the way. This is one of the most amazing archeological sites in the world. Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. Your guide will choose the best wildlife viewing locations for the time of year. Spend time at the hippo pool, watching these enormous animals laze about in the cool water alongside the crocodiles, watch a lion stalking its prey or be staggered by the scale of the great wildebeest migration. Zanzibar

On the morning of day 8 you will be transferred to the Seronera airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar, flying via Arusha. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to relax and soak up the sea air! You have four days to enjoy this beautiful island paradise. Enjoy activities such as snorkeling or scuba diving; exploring the history and architecture of Stone Town; kite-surfing; swimming with dolphins; a spice tour; dhow sailing or relaxing on the beach. When and where does the tour end?

Your tour will conclude in Zanzibar on Day 12 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!

When and where does the tour start?

Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Arusha City. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released

Do you arrange airport transfers?

Definitely we have airport pick up and drop up facilities for our clients who have booked our full packages tour. We are also pleased to inform you that we don’t charge for the pick up and drop up facilities. Actually it’s free of cost. But for this you need to provide the arrival time and date.

What about the local language? Do we need guide services everywhere?

We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese, only on advanced booking.

Is tipping included in the tour cost? If not how much should it be for the trip?

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry. We would recommend carrying small change in your pocket. Tips to Guides or other services rendered (Highly recommended)

How Old Can Go to this tour?

We accept children of all ages to travel on safari and believe it is a wonderful experience for families to travel together. For children to make the most out of their travels, we suggest looking into one of our special family itineraries. We have car seats available for very young children. Please bear in mind, some of the accommodation have minimum age restrictions, so please inform us of the age of your child/children.
