What is the best time to go on this safari?

The best time is during the dry seasons: June to October and January to March. These months offer ideal wildlife viewing and coincide with the Great Migration in Masai Mara (July–October).

Are flights included in the package?

Internal flights between destinations (e.g., Nairobi to Samburu, Masai Mara to Nairobi) are included. International flights to and from Kenya are not included but can be arranged upon request.

What type of vehicles will be used for game drives?

You will enjoy custom-built 4x4 safari vehicles with open sides or pop-up roofs for optimal wildlife viewing and photography. Each guest has a guaranteed window seat.

What level of accommodation can we expect?

You will stay in handpicked luxury lodges and tented camps, such as Solio Lodge, Saruni Samburu, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, Mara Plains, and Angama Mara, all offering exceptional comfort, privacy, and personalized service.

Is the safari suitable for children?

Yes. This safari is suitable for families. Many camps offer family suites and child-friendly activities, but some properties have age restrictions (usually 6+ years). We can tailor the itinerary accordingly.

What should I pack for this safari?

Pack light, neutral-colored clothing, a warm layer for chilly mornings, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), binoculars, and a camera. A full packing list will be shared upon booking.

Are vaccinations or health precautions required?

We recommend being up to date on routine vaccinations. Yellow fever vaccination is required for entry into Kenya. Malaria prophylaxis is also advised. Please consult your doctor or travel clinic.

Can dietary preferences be accommodated?

Yes. All camps and lodges can cater to special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergies—just let us know in advance.

Tour Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the safari start date. For bookings made within 60 days, full payment is required upon confirmation.

2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. Fees apply as follows:

  • More than 60 days before arrival: 25% of total cost

  • 59–31 days before arrival: 50% of total cost

  • 30 days or less before arrival: 100% of total cost (non-refundable)

3. Travel Insurance
All guests must obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of personal belongings. Proof of coverage may be requested before departure.

4. Health Requirements
Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet all health and vaccination requirements for travel to Kenya. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory, and malaria prophylaxis is highly recommended.

5. Visa and Entry Requirements
Guests must obtain a Kenyan eVisa prior to arrival. Passport validity must extend at least 6 months beyond the return date, with at least two blank pages.

6. Changes to Itinerary
While we strive to operate the tour as described, we reserve the right to make changes due to weather conditions, flight schedules, park regulations, or safety concerns. Any changes will be communicated promptly and with guest convenience in mind.

7. Responsibility & Liability
Paul Tours Safari and its partners act only as agents for the hotels, airlines, and transport providers. We are not liable for injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity caused by third-party service providers or events beyond our control.

8. Child Policy
Children are welcome on safari; however, some lodges have minimum age requirements. We will tailor family bookings accordingly. Special child rates apply depending on age and accommodation policy.
