Early in the morning, you will be picked up from Dar- es-salaam and transfer to Mikumi National Park, with a brief stopover on the way for lunch and arriving in time for an afternoon game drive in the park in search for wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, lions etc. Mikumi is blessed with high numbers of game and often referred as little Serengeti. Head out to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Overnight: Camp Bastian
After an early breakfast, leave your lodge and head to the park in search for wildlife in a thrilling game drive. Be on the lookout for the wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes and many more. Have a lunch break and later visit other park locations such as the Mkata, Chamgore (place of pythons) and Mkata flood plains. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
