Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip or Grumeti Airstrip, you’ll be met by a professional safari guide who will warmly welcome you to the Serengeti. From the airstrip, enjoy a scenic game drive en route to &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge, nestled on the banks of the Grumeti River in the remote Western Corridor.
As you drive through the vast savannah, keep your eyes open for giraffes, zebras, and herds of wildebeest roaming freely. Arrive at the lodge in time for check-in and a refreshing welcome drink, followed by a leisurely lunch overlooking the river — often frequented by hippos and crocodiles.
In the late afternoon, set off on your first game drive in this untouched corner of the Serengeti. The Grumeti region is known for its excellent year-round wildlife viewing and dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration season (May–July).

This itinerary is ideal between June and October, during the dry season when wildlife viewing is exceptional, and the weather is pleasant. The Great Migration often passes near the Grumeti area around June–July.
Yes. &Beyond Grumeti welcomes children, and family-friendly suites are available. However, children under 6 are typically not permitted on game drives unless on a private vehicle.
You’ll likely spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and possibly the elusive black rhino. The area is part of the Great Migration corridor.
We recommend lightweight clothing in neutral colors, a warm jacket for early mornings, sun protection, insect repellent, and a camera with extra batteries. Laundry services are available at the lodge.

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The balance must be paid in full at least 60 days before the safari start date.

2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 91+ days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 61–90 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 60 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed minus bank and transaction charges.
