Day 1

Arrival in Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met at the air bridge/entry of terminal building and bus drop off point, assisted through immigration and further be assisted with luggage/porterage and through customs and escorted to your driver or pickups. As per airport regulations, for arrivals our representative cannot hold a paging board but please be on the lookout for them, they normally have yellow jackets labelled Trade Winds. You will be collected from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and driven to Hemingways Nairobi. Spend your 1 night stay at Hemingways Nairobi in a Deluxe Suite with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast, butler valet services, Wi-Fi, mineral water, fruits and flowers in the room, satellite television, complimentary local newspaper, complimentary use of gym, sauna, steam and outdoor pool. If you would like to spend the day discovering three of Nairobi's most loved attractions on this delightful three-hour excursion. Your journey will begin with a short exploration of the Karen Blixen Museum, for a glimpse into the fascinating world of this pioneer coffee farmer, who achieved world fame through her highly-acclaimed memoir, Out of Africa. Your next stop will take you to the renowned Giraffe Centre, where you will be given a rare opportunity to get up-close to these gentle giants in this natural sanctuary, which has been founded by Jock Leslie-Melville, the Kenyan grandson of a Scottish Earl, to protect the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. A heart-warming visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage will wrap up your outing here, you can witness the heroic efforts of the dedicated team who rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves and other vulnerable animals. Day 2

Laikipia, Kenya

You will be collected from Hemingways Nairobi and driven to Wilson Airport. Depart on your AirKenya Express flight from Wilson Airport to Nanyuki Airport. Nanyuki your gateway to Laikipia County of Kenya lying northwest of Mount Kenya. When you touch ground here, you will be just north (0 01 North) of the Equator! You will be collected from Nanyuki Airport and driven to Karisia Walking Safaris. Explore during your 3 night stay at Karisia Walking Safari in a Tent FB - Luxury Walking Safari with Camels. Your stay includes all meals, alcohol including premium beer, spirits and wine, local English speaking guide( Joseph, Gabriel or Rana), Laikipia Masai and Samburu staff, visit to local, school, manyattas, local markets (Tuesday and Wednesday - please ask), rock climbing and laundry. Karisia Tumaren Camp
Laikipia, Kenya Tumaren Camp is perfectly situated on the edge of a wide sweeping plain with panoramic views dotted with the iconic acacia tree. To the south, the landscape is defined by granitic inselbergs, rising up like islands on the savanna. The grasslands are rich with wildlife, easily slip away the hours watching animals wander by or photograph the huge variety of birds coming to the bird bath in front of the sitting room. The activities are endless, whatever your energy level, there's an option to suit you. Go on guided walks, camel rides, rock climbing, picnics, visit the local markets, school and homes or relax on a game drive should you wish. You will be collected from Karisia Walking Safaris and driven to Nanyuki Airport. Depart on your AirKenya Express flight from Nanyuki Airport to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip. Departure

Depart on your AirKenya Express flight from Kichwa Tembo Airstrip to Wilson Airport. Nairobi is Kenya's capital city, it is one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, a commercial and financial regional hub. A member from our andBeyond team will collect you from Wilson Airport and drive you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Guests are met at the drop off area. Tradewinds will be in communication with the guide until guests arrive at the drop off point. Guests will be assisted through security check, check in and passport control where after they will be escorted to lounge &/ gate depending on class of travel.

When and where does the tour end?

Your tour Ends in Nairobi city . We highly recommend booking accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city of Nairobi one day before safari! all cost is not included accommodation before and after safari.

When and where does the tour start?

Definitely we have airport pick up and drop up facilities for our clients who have booked our full packages tour. We are also pleased to inform you that we don’t charge for the pick up and drop up facilities. Actually it’s free of cost. But for this you need to provide the arrival time and date.

What about the local language? Do we need guide services everywhere?

We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese, only on advanced booking.

Is tipping included in the tour cost? If not how much should it be for the trip?

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry. We would recommend carrying small change in your pocket. Tips to Guides or other services rendered (Highly recommended)

Do you accept kids to this tour?

We accept children of all ages to travel on safari and believe it is a wonderful experience for families to travel together. For children to make the most out of their travels, we suggest looking into one of our special family itineraries. We have car seats available for very young children. Please bear in mind, some of the accommodation have minimum age restrictions, so please inform us of the age of your child/children.
