7 Day Tanzania Signature Safari

On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport (JRO), meet your driver guide and transfer to the lovely town of Arusha for an overnight at Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Today. you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to Tarangire National Park for the start to your safari adventure. This park well known for its large elephant herds and gigantic baobab trees offers a fantastic introduction to Tanzania's northern circuit wonders. Tonight, dinner and overnight at Tarangire Treetops.

Today, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara's rich variety of natural habitats are set around the soda lake, itself a haven for clouds of flamingos and other waterbirds. This is a paradise for birding enthusiasts! The forested valleys and open savannah plains support a large elephant population as well as giraffe, buffalo and many antelope species. There are fewer predators but topping the list are Lake Manyara's lions, famous for their habit of climbing trees. Dinner and overnight at Elewana, The  Manor at Ngorongoro, your base for two nights.

Ngorongoro, is the worlds largest intact caldera and home to an astonishing numbers of animals. The crater has long protected a thriving population of big game species: great-tusked elephants, robust black rhinos and famous black-maned lions. After a leisurely breakfast from your hotel, drive into the Ngorongoro highlands and descend into the crater, one of the few places in Africa where the Big 5 can be seen in a single game drive! After a full day of safari and a delicious picnic lunch on the crater plains, return to the lodge for sundowners over the camp fire before a sumptuous dinner.

Bid the crater farewell and board a flight from Lake Manyara airstrip to the Serengeti. From the air, the legendary reserve unfolds below you, its vast open plains stretching towards a distant horizon. This is where the famed Great Migration takes place at certain times of year – over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle migrate a vast circular route, following the rains to fresh pastures and the soft grass shoots that nurture their new born calves and foals. The following days will have you explore the park, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives from Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp.

After an early morning game drive and a delicious brunch in camp, transfer to Seronera Airstrip for flight back to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro for onward arrangements.
