Travel Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival into Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your lodge located in Arusha. The remainder of your day is at leisure. The African Tulip hotel is an elegant, charming boutique hotel located in leafy suburb of Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital! Meals are included on request. Overnight: The African Tulip Hotel

Day 2

Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to Tarangire National Park for the start to your safari adventure. This park well known for its large elephant herds and gigantic baobab trees offers a fantastic introduction to Tanzania's northern circuit wonders. Tonight, dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Lodge. This lovely property is situated in the ecosystem of lake Manyara, in fields of golden vegetation, and brings together premium services, exclusive attentions and genuine hospitality in a spectacular scene. Its elegant tents are built on raised wood platforms with a private terrace and views of Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley and is the perfect property after a safari in Tarangire or Lake Manyara.

Day 3

Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park

Today, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara's rich variety of natural habitats are set around the soda lake, itself a haven for clouds of flamingos and other waterbirds. This is a paradise for birding enthusiasts! The forested valleys and open savannah plains support a large elephant population as well as giraffe, buffalo and many antelope species. There are fewer predators but topping the list are Lake Manyara's lions, famous for their habit of climbing trees.  Dinner and overnight Maramboi Tented Lodge

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Ngorongoro, is the worlds largest intact caldera and home to an astonishing numbers of animals. The crater has long protected a thriving population of big game species: great-tusked elephants, robust black rhinos and famous black-maned lions. After an early breakfast from your lodge, drive into the Ngorongoro highlands and descend into the crater, one of the few places in Africa where the Big 5 can be seen in a single game drive! Enjoy a full day of safari and a delicious picnic lunch on the crater plains, ending at Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight. Hand plaited thatched roof tops, ample verandas and colonial interiors at Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times. Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth. A wonderful stop-off during a safari on the north circuit of Tanzania and a privileged place from where one can visit the crater or enjoy activities such a walking safaris to the volcano or excursions to Lake Eyasi on the Rift Valley still inhabited by the Hadzabe tribe. Day 5-6

A Serengeti Safari

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer through the Ngorongoro highlands into the the vast plains of the Serengeti. Today will be spent mostly on game drive, exploring the central reaches of the large wildlife preserve, which is overflowing with an abundance of animals. Your base for the next two nights is the lovely Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. This camp is strategically located to ensure that all areas of the Serengeti are within reach for guests, including legendary locations like the famous Maasai kopjes, the Museum of Olduvai Gorge, Seronera and the Grumeti River. It has been designed with a modern African decorative style that creates a fresh and bright atmosphere, but very cozy and with the right amount of luxury. Day 7

Departure Day

After an early morning game drive and a delicious brunch in camp, transfer to Seronera Airstrip for flight back to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro for onward arrangements.

When and where does the tour end?

Your tour Ends in Arusha city or Kilimanjaro Airport. We highly recommend booking accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city of Arusha City one day before safari! all cost is not included accommodation before and after safari.

When and where does the tour start?

Day 1 of this tour is an arrival day, and it will involve a pick up at Kilimanjaro airport  and drop off to your hotel.

Do you arrange airport transfers?

We definitely have airport pick up and drop up services available for our clients who have booked our full packages tour. We are also pleased to inform you that we don’t charge for the pick up and drop off services. Actually it’s free of cost. But for this you need to provide the arrival time and date.

What about the local language? Do we need guide services everywhere?

We provide English speaking chauffeurs for individual tours. For group tours, English speaking tour escorts would accompany the groups. During sightseeing involving historically important places or monuments, we provide English speaking local guides who are well knowledged in history and culture. We could even provide guides who speak French, German and Japanese but only on advanced booking.

Is tipping included in the tour cost? If not how much should it be for the trip?

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and it is left the discretion of the travellers. Though not compulsory, tipping is expected by one and all involved in the service industry. We would recommend carrying small change in your pocket. Tips to Guides or other services rendered (Highly recommended)

What is the age travel limit for children?

We accept children of all ages to travel on safari and believe it is a wonderful experience for families to travel together. For children to make the most out of their travels, we suggest looking into one of our special family itineraries. We have car seats available for very young children. Please bear in mind, some of the accommodation have minimum age restrictions, so please inform us of the age of your child/children.
