Transfer to Tarangire National Park, After a leisurely breakfast at your Arusha hotel, you will begin your journey with your guide to Tarangire National Park. You will then drive southwest, through rural Tanzania, until you reach the park gate. Then, arrive at the boutique and welcome Oliver’s Camp. You will explore the colossal baobabs, grassy plains and vast herds of elephant among the unique landscapes of Tarangire National Park, along with tree-climbing lions and massive flocks of lesser pink flamingo in the lake. As well as 300-strong herds of elephant, adventurers will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lion and leopard. During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country. There are wild dogs and rare antelope, such as gerenuk, plus more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. After a delicious breakfast surrounded by the early morning soundscape of the bush, you will be transferred to The Highlands Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
