Your journey begins in Nairobi, where you can explore the city’s vibrant culture and recover from your international flight. From there, you will fly or drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a wildlife sanctuary set against the backdrop of Mount Kenya. Here, you will meet the last two northern white rhinos on the planet. Additionally, you can see lions, elephants, and other wildlife. Enjoy day and night game drives, as well as optional walking safaris led by expert guides.

Next, travel to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations. Stay at Rekero Camp, located on the banks of the Talek River. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, Kenya, where you will be warmly welcomed by your safari team. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, transfer to Hemingways Nairobi, a luxury hotel offering elegant accommodations and exceptional service.

Experience the Great Migration at Rekero Camp

After a restful night at Hemingways Nairobi and a hearty breakfast, your private guide will drive you for approximately five hours to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, passing through colorful flower farms and bustling market towns. Upon arrival, enjoy a delightful lunch at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kenya’s snow-capped peaks.

Spend the afternoon on your first game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. Ol Pejeta is home to the world’s last two northern white rhinos, and you will have the opportunity to visit their enclosure. Rangers will provide insights into the conservation efforts underway to protect endangered species and maintain the sanctuary’s rich biodiversity.

Experience the Great Migration at Rekero Camp

After breakfast at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, transfer to the local airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, your Asilia guide will escort you to Rekero Camp, perched above the Talek River with stunning views of a prime Great Migration crossing point.

Rekero Camp features nine spacious safari tents, including two family tents, all with en suite bathrooms, flushing toilets, and hot-water showers. From the lounge and deck, watch hippos splashing in the river while soaking in the surrounding wilderness.
