After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will pick you up for the drive to Tarangire National Park—one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and offers scenic views of rural landscapes and Maasai villages.
Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through Tarangire’s vast savannahs and iconic baobab-dotted hills. The park is especially famous for its large elephant herds, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and leopards. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, acts as a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature. Continue with an afternoon game drive, capturing stunning photos and observing the unique wildlife behaviors of the bush.
In the late afternoon, head to your lodge or tented camp near the park for check-in, relaxation, and dinner under the stars.
