Accommodation: Hemingways Nairobi
Meals: Dinner (optional, based on arrival time)
After breakfast at Hemingways Nairobi, your safari guide will meet you for the journey to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. You’ll depart in a private 4x4 safari vehicle, traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, with stops for photography and refreshments along the way.
Arrive at Hemingways Ol Seki Mara Camp, your exclusive safari retreat nestled in the private Naboisho Conservancy, which borders the main reserve. Enjoy a warm welcome, followed by check-in and lunch with panoramic views of the savannah.
In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive. Naboisho Conservancy offers an incredible density of wildlife with far fewer vehicles, allowing for a more intimate experience. You may spot elephants, giraffes, gazelles, and the resident pride of lions within minutes of leaving camp.
As the sun sets, return to camp for a refreshing drink around the campfire, followed by a gourmet dinner prepared by the camp’s talented chefs. End the day with the sounds of nature surrounding your elegant tent — a perfect start to your safari.
Accommodation: Hemingways Ol Seki Mara Camp (Luxury Tented Camp in Naboisho Conservancy)

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the bush as the sun rises over the savannah. After a fresh cup of coffee or tea, set out for an early morning game drive — the best time to spot predators on the move and witness wildlife in action as the day begins.
The Naboisho Conservancy, where Hemingways Ol Seki is located, offers an exceptional safari experience with fewer vehicles, off-road driving, and the chance to see rare behaviors up close. You may encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and a variety of plains game in this rich ecosystem.
Return to camp for a late breakfast and some leisure time. You can relax in your luxurious tent with sweeping views, enjoy a book in the lounge, or take a nature walk with a Maasai guide to learn about the smaller creatures and medicinal plants of the savannah.
In the afternoon, head out again for another game drive or choose to visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural experience. Interact with local families, learn about traditional customs, and see the famous beadwork and dances that define the Maasai way of life.
As the sun sets, enjoy a sundowner in the bush before heading back to camp. Dinner is served under the stars, followed by stories and stargazing around the campfire — a magical end to a thrilling day in the wild.

The Mara is teeming with animals—from herds of elephants and towers of giraffes to prides of lions and elusive leopards resting in the trees.
If you’re visiting during the Great Migration season (July to October), your guide will position you strategically to witness wildebeest river crossings, a dramatic and unforgettable event. Even outside migration season, the Mara offers some of Africa’s best year-round game viewing.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the savannah. After lunch, continue your drive with opportunities to spot cheetahs hunting, hyenas scavenging, and hippos wallowing in the rivers.
